Description

Written by Lisa Lovett, Cyndi O’Meara’s sister. This book was written back in 1990 and has now been turned into an e-book. Lisa delves into the effects of immunisation on your immune system.

My sister Lisa Lovett was a very passionate health advocate who was ahead of her time.  As far as I know this was one of the first books in Australia telling the truth about vaccination, she was writing this book in the early 80’s and finally published Immunity Why Not Keep It in 1990.  This book is timeless the information in it is current today as it was 30 years ago.  It is a succinct book about vaccines, that can be read easily to wet your appetite to learn more.  This book is a wonderful place to begin your journey for the information that your medical doctor won’t give you.  The book is referenced and there is no skewing of data.  This book may change your mind about the safety and efficacy of vaccines.

Lisa passed away from an autoimmune disease CREST in 2007.  She was diagnosed when she was 25 and given 10 years to live, but she managed through looking after her body and health to live till she was almost 46.  CREST stands for calcinosis, raynaud phenomenon, esophageal dysmotility, scleroderma and  telangiectasia.  As you can see she had a lot to deal with but she was a trooper and would not give into her disabilities.  She practiced Chiropractic up until two days before she passed away.

Lisa was given many antibiotics as a child for ear infections, she had her tonsils and adenoids removed and she felt that this did not help her immune system, in fact her belief was that her immune system couldn’t tell friend from foe and so turned against her.  The escalating number of autoimmune diseases such as; rheumatoid arthritis, AIDS, type 1 diabetes and the 50 or so more may be an indicator of the research that Lisa talks about in this wonderfully informative discourse on the immune system.

Lisa was a teacher, a sage, a visionary and my mentor.
