These GF, GrF, DF, NF, EF bliss balls are fantastic to always have on hand, you can make them up, pop them into small ziplock bags and store in the freezer. Just grab a bag out whenever you need a healthy snack that is already pre-prepared!

Soak the dates in warm water until soft.
Drain the water from the dates.
In a high speed food processor or thermomix add the sunflower seeds and blend until it resembles a fine meal/ flour.
Melt the cacao melts and coconut oil together in a small saucepan on low heat. When it has completely melted, remove from the heat.
Add all ingredients to the food processor or thermomix and blend until combined evenly and the mixture comes together. You may need to scrape the sides down in-between blending. If the mixture is too dry add a touch more water little by little, or if it is too wet, add a touch more coconut flour (or ground sunflower seeds) and blend again until it can be easily rolled into bliss balls.
You can roll the balls in shredded coconut, sesame seeds, cacao or cocoa powder, cinnamon, melted cacao melts or simply leave them plain.
Once you have rolled all the balls, place them onto a plate or into a container and put in the fridge to chill and harden.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Delicious! My almost 5 year old fussy eater ate almost an entire batch of these!!
Just wondering if the recipe is correct? Seems to be a lot of coconut oil, coconut flour, water and cinnamon.
Hi Sascha,
Thanks so much for picking this mistake up. When we switched over website platforms, some of the recipes didn’t transfer over properly, hence the large amounts of certain ingredients. I have now fixed it up in the backend so the recipe is correct 🙂
