Russian Tonic

It's recommened to have 1 Tbsp of this tonic every day throughout the winter months to boost the immune system and reduce inflammation.

 200g walnuts
 200g sprouted buckwheat
 500g chopped lemons
 1 1/2 cups (400ml) lemon juice
 7 large heads of garlic (700g) (remove all the garlic skins)
 500g raw honey
 Optional Add-Ins; Changing Habits Turmeric Powder and/ or ginger root or powder

Grind the walnuts into a fine flour in a food processor or thermomix (don't blend it into a nut butter). Once it's ready, place it into a bowl and set it aside.

Add the 500g of chopped lemons and blend this into a paste using a food processor or thermomix and transfer this to a bowl and set it aside.

Add the sprouted buckwheat to a bowl and set this aside.

Add the lemon juice to a bowl and set this aside.

Now add all the garlic cloves to a food processor or thermomix and blend it into a paste. Transfer this to a bowl and set it aside.

Lastly, begin adding in all the ingredients into a large glass jar and mix it until combined.

Close the lid and allow this to ferment for 4-5 days.
