The dates and cinnamon add an incredible caramel fragrant taste to this already delicious chocolate-orange smoothie which is packed with antioxidants & nutrients.
Dissolve the gelatin, cacao melts and cocoa powder (more or less to taste. I like an intense chocolatey flavour and don't want to burn through my precious cacao melts by using more than necessary) in 1/4 hot water. Add along with cinnamon and banana into blender. Slice desired quantity of peel from the orange then cut the orange into quarters. Pull remaining peel off each quarter & add along with the date and cashews. Blend on high for about 30 seconds.
This recipe can also be used as the base for a pudding made with the organic chia seeds. Simply add the seeds to the blender with an extra cup of liquid for each tablespoon of chia seeds.
