A quick, easy and nourishing snack, and it's a great one to pop into lunch boxes.

Once the gelatin has bloomed, add it + coconut cream, inflammation ease, vanilla, turmeric, pepper and chia seeds to a small saucepan. Heat on a low heat until the gelatin has completely dissolved.
Remove from the heat and stir in the honey to taste.
Line a container or square tin with baking paper.
Pour the mixture into the lined tin or container and place in the fridge to set.
Once it's ready, slice into squares.

Thank you for the valuable information regarding the absorption of curcumin in the tumeric when eaten along side the pepper. Even more reason to make these healhy squares!
Hi Jordan
If you can’t use coconut cream could I use homemade almond milk and use a bit more gelatin?
Hi Cathy,
Yes you could try experimenting with that 🙂
Hi Cathy,
You should be able to substitute almond milk for the coconut cream as is. Let us know how you get on 🙂
Sounds delicious
Thanks for tips about increasing absorption of tumeric
I’ve been advised to add turmeric to my recipes for my cardiovascular health so will make this slice
?
Are we able to get the nutritional breakdown on this Thank you!
Hi Kyra,
We don’t provide the nutritional breakdown of our recipes as we take a more holistic view of food. If we eat a variety of real foods, we will naturally obtain the macro and micro nutrients we need in order to be healthy. Hope this helps 🙂

This did not set… what do I do?
Only ingredient I missed was the inflammation ease.
Hi Jodey,
Did you forget to add the gelatin? As this is what ‘sets’ the jelly squares 🙂
No… but I am pregnant… so maybe 😂
Shall I just do the gelatin part again and re-add/mix together?
I made it on Tuesday and it’s just been sitting in fridge in the tin (uncovered) will it still be alright?
Haha totally understandable then! so just bloom the gelatin and then melt that in a small saucepan with the remaining ingredients until the gelatin has dissolved. Then pour into a lined container and set it in the fridge. Just make sure you smell your current batch to see if it’s still fine, hopefully, it hasn’t spoiled 🙂
