Creamy and delicious, this Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Cream make a great treat, is packed with nutrients and can be whipped up in a flash!
Remove the excess water from the soaked nuts using a strainer.
Add the cacao melts and ghee to a small saucepan and heat on low until completely melted. Allow this to cool off the heat.
Now add the soaked nuts, 1/2 cup of dates, water, vanilla, cinnamon, melted cacao and ghee + salt to a high-speed blender or thermomix and blitz until completely smooth, creamy and combined.
Taste the mix and add more dates if you need more sweetness and re-blend on high until combined.
Pour the mixture into a lined tin and place it in the freezer to set.
Take the frozen chocolate mix out of the freezer and slice it up into rough squares.
Place them into your food processor or thermomix and blend.
Add 1/2 of the avocado to the mix and re-blend. It should help it to blend and to become even creamier. If you need more avocado, add the rest in and re-blend.
