Spiced Granola

Grain free, dairy free, gluten free & vegan! If your house doesn't smell like Christmas after baking this, I don't know what does!

 3 Tbsp coconut oil
 1 1/2 cups of almond flour
 2 Tbsp Changing Habits Maleo
 1/2 tsp baking soda
 1/4 tsp Changing Habits Seaweed Salt
 1 1/2 cup nuts - we used pecans, hazelnuts and walnuts (you can use other nuts for different tastes)
 1/4 cup pepitas
 1/2 cup dried fruits - we used cranberries and Changing Habits Dates (you can use other dried fruits for different tastes)
 Optional Add Ins: 2 tsp of Changing Habits Cinnamon, 1 tsp of Changing Habits Ginger Powder, 1/2 tsp ground cloves, 1/2 tsp Changing Habits Nutmeg

Preheat oven to 125 degrees.


Combine all ingredients (except dried fruit) and desired optional spices thoroughly.


Roughly chop dried fruit to bite size, and set aside.


Spread evenly over 2 baking paper lined trays and place in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden.


At the 15 minute mark, separate and spread the mix around to make sure it cooks evenly.


Let cool before mixing the dried fruit through it.


Transfer to an air tight container.


Suggested Servings: Enjoy with homemade nut, seed or coconut milk, kefir, yoghurt or fresh seasonal fruit.
