Chocolate Covered Apple Slice

Chocolate covered strawberries were once all the rage, but have you ever thought of using other fruits? Why not try others like banana, pear or apple slices. Yum Yum!

Yields1 ServingDifficultyBeginner
 1-2 Tbsp coconut oil or butter/ ghee
 2 Tbsp Raw Organic Honey (or to taste)
 1 Organic apple, sliced into rounds

In a small saucepan on low heat, melt oil/ butter and melts and stir until combined.

Remove from the heat and mix through salt and honey.

Line a small square container or baking tray with baking paper and lay the apple slices on top of the paper evenly and closely.

Pour the chocolate mixture over the top of the apple slices, covering them evenly.

Refrigerate until set.

Slice into squares and enjoy!
