I put off starting my FLP journey for almost five years after purchasing the program! Peaking at nearly 132 kg/size 24 and feeling so low in confidence, I finally started in September 2020.

It was all about weight loss, to begin with, and it was a STRUGGLE. I was losing weight fantastically but breaking old habits was tough work.

Fast forward to now, I have lost 67kg, but I have begun to LOVE the journey. I am learning so much about food and health that I don't think I will ever be able to return to my previous 'life'.

When asked, I love to share my experience and the things I've learnt with others. I feel motivated, energised and excited for what's coming next.


After a particularly hard break up 10 years ago, I slowly gained the 20 extra kilos as a kind of emotional protection and have been single ever since…on purpose. But 1.5 years ago I decided it was time to start dating however I felt so fat and undesirable with my extra weight, that I quickly gave up and thought that nobody would want to date me while I was overweight.

This was the last bit of motivation that I needed to do something about the extra kilos once and for all.

Interestingly, I also found that as the weight came off, I found that the emotional issues (around my ex from 10 years ago) resurfaced and I needed to process my feelings around that as I continued my weight loss journey…so I actually went through a massive healing journey on an emotional level too…not just on a physical level. 


I did three rounds of FLP, commencing in 2021 and 2 in 2022. I Lost over 18 kilos in total (7 to go). I am an advocate for women releasing trauma, and Changing Habits has been a critical healing tool for me, and what it has taught me about the relationship to my body is now for life. 

I was having a real energy issue and wanted to have the stamina and energy I used to have. It was phenomenal; it was challenging, liberating and exciting. I found the whole process to be full of acceptance, love and kindness.

The coaches are human angels! The level of understanding and kindness and out of this world. The most significant change, other than weight, is the sense of calm! 


Before the Protocol, I was living in a bit of denial about where my health was at. I noticed as I was getting a little older that I was holding onto my weight a bit more. I was feeling imbalanced; fatigue was a big issue, and I didn't feel quite right, with test results not showing anything. I have tried many different things. The weight loss was a benefit, but my focus was wellness - body, mind & spirit.

I found I got my energy back, my sleep improved, being able to wake up, feel good and have the energy to do what I needed to achieve for the day.

The coaching was amazing, you knew you could ask a question, and you would get an answer and be able to apply it to your life. The group is fantastic, and it is such a relatable group. We are all going through a similar journey. You can initially feel overwhelmed, but when you see how the Protocol is structured, it's simple and intuitive eating.

I would say just give it a go; what have you got to lose? You will only benefit from this program. It will provide you with an opportunity to take a step back and see life as you want to live.


I have always been active. By the time I was 16, I was 95kg. I had some major injuries and surgeries. My weight continued to go up, and by the time I got to the Protocol, I was up around 115kg.

I had tried a few fad-style diets, which didn't help at all. Some were short-term fixes, and when I had injuries, it put more weight on. My blood pressure was very high, and my BMI was heading toward morbidly obese.

Apart from the weight loss, I wanted to ward off some lifestyle diseases and get back into an active lifestyle.

I did the Protocol with my wife and found it relatively easy. I did like the structure and the phases, as I am quite a structured person. I lost 35kgs. What I wasn't expecting was to learn about the foods that make me train and perform really well or foods that don't agree with me. This was a great outcome and helped me maintain my weight.

This is a lifestyle change, not a fad, and has given me, my wife and my wife's family, which has helped all our lives develop and grow and enjoy life!

The Protocol is divided into 4 Phases — each with their own focus and overall objective. For each phase, you’ll receive an easy to follow step-by-step guide, delivered via our online program or the hard-copy booklet you receive when you order your pack.

As you progress through each phase you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the changes occurring in your body — to help ensure your success on the protocol.

You’ll have the opportunity to record your progress using your personal online health tracker page and meal diary. This enables you to keep an eye on the  foods have a negative effect on your health and which foods bring you closer to optimal health.

It was 2011. My highest known weight was 122kgs. I say highest ‘known’ weight because I stopped weighing after this point. I was morbidly obese, I felt sick and depressed. I didn’t have the energy to play with my children. I had high blood pressure and was pre-diabetic.

I was wearing a size 22, which was becoming too tight, and I knew that I had to change.


I was a plus size 22/24, weighing in at over 122kgs. My doctor had classified me as Morbidly Obese 3 with a BMI of over 40. Then I joined the very first Fat Loss Protocol ‘Challenge’ and everything changed.

Compounding Health Issues

Prior to starting the protocol I had a number of health issues besides the weight. I had fatty liver disease, Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), osteoarthritis in both hips, heartburn, indigestion, migraines and pain was a constant daily battle.


The length of the Fat Loss Protocol is personalised for each participant based on the amount of weight lost in each round. It’s completely up to you! Phase 1, 2 & 3 MUST last from a minimum of 18 days to a maximum of 48 days. Our Protocol Coaches can help you decide what is right for you.


10 day kickstart (optional)

The 10 DAY KICKSTART  gets your body and mind ready for the 4 Phases of the Protocol. It can help with reducing some of the more common detox symptoms, such as headaches, aches and pains. It will also help establish healthy eating habits and calm those food cravings for sugary or processed foods, which will kickstart your weight loss journey and start reducing stored fat!

We will guide you through the 10 days of with informative and practical tips about eating right, as well as inspiration and action steps you can take each day to improve your mindset.

If you are a newbie to the Fat Loss Protocol, then we recommend you do the Kickstart first. For those doing extra rounds, there is no need to do the Kickstart, if you continue eating a whole food diet.


PHASE 1 (2-3 Days)

The focus of Phase 1 is on eating good quality fats. We’d be lying if we didn’t say that this is almost everyone’s favourite stage. Of course, the purpose behind this is to allow your body to transition to Phase 2 with ease. During this phase you’ll begin taking your Fat Loss support drops.

Lose weight naturally

PHASE 2 (13-43 Days)

Phase 2 is where things start to get really exciting. It is the time when we start your ‘winter’ and strip your diet back to the basics.

Having stocked up on healthy fats in Phase 1, and with the aid of the Fat Loss Support drops you’ll transition to eating the winter type foods of our ancestors. This includes modest portions of lean meats, select fruits & vegetables. You will have a selection of fruits, proteins & vegetables you can choose from your allowed food list when your purchase one of the packs. We also provide a recipe library to create beautiful, healthy, tasty meals to carry you through Phase 2.

Why is this phase exciting? Because this is the time where most people begin to lose weight very quickly. This powerful detox period helps reduce the body’s inflammation that causes weight gain and ill health. In Phase 2, people tend to lose approximately 300gms on average a day — we’ve seen people lose 2 kg in 24 hours.

Phase 2 lasts anywhere from 13-43 days depending on how much weight you are trying to lose. Our Protocol coaches are there to guide you and answer any questions you may have, plus you receive a recommended guide in your book and online program. This Phase is also the time to do light exercise such as walking and yoga.


PHASE 3 (3 Days)

This Phase only lasts three days, where you will continue to eat the same foods from the previous phase. The only change is that during this phase, you’ll stop taking the 4-phase support drops in preparation for Phase 4.

By this stage your weight loss will be very noticeable, not only to yourself but family and friends. It won’t be just the weight loss that is noticeable, our members often notice a change in their skin, clarity in their eyes and a feeling of wellbeing.

You will be ready to re-introduce foods back into your diet and continue to learn and educate yourself about real food.


PHASE 4 (Min 21 Days)

Phase 4 is one of the most important phases in that it will help you to uncover what foods really work for you.

During this phase you will start adding some foods back into your diet again. As you reintroduce certain foods into your life, you will be able to determine which foods make you feel healthier and which cause inflammation and sickness in your body. It is essential to help you educate yourself on the steps you need to take to maintain your ideal healthy weight for life.

If you wish, you can start increasing your exercise regime as you commence to introduce more foods.

What is in the Fat Loss Support Drops?

Fat Loss Protocol Support Drops - Ingredients and what they mean


Activators (non hormonal), Proprietary blend of homeopathic amino acids, multiple potency L-Carnitine, L-Arginine, L-Ornithine, L-Theanine 4x, 6x, 12x, 24x in Ethanol 170mcl/ml.

Do I have to purchase 2 Complete packs for my partner/friend?

Yes you can, although to save on costs you could just purchase 1x FLP Complete Pack + an extra bottle of drops as you can share the recommended supplements but you will each need your own bottle of support drops.

What is the advantage of buying the Complete pack with all the supplements?

Our customers have greater success when they take the real food supplements in conjunction with the Fat Loss Protocol. When should I start the Protocol?
Except for menstruating women, you can start the Fat Loss Protocol whenever you want. Before starting, it is essential to read the Phases section and understand what you will be doing, particularly your first week. Have a meal plan in place and go shopping for your allowed foods list. I would also suggest you have a buddy or share with your family what you are doing so you have support throughout the Protocol.


It is best for women who still menstruate regularly to start the Protocol the day after their period ends. If this is not possible, it is ok to start at other times of the month as long as you are at least ten days away from your period. The important thing is not to have your period fall during Phase 1, so if you can, plan accordingly.
*During menstruation, we recommend not to take the drops for the first three days or the three heaviest days of your cycle only. Then resume taking the support drops again. Also, note that weight loss may slow during your period.
What kind of exercise can I do when on the Protocol?

Phase 1 & 4 - Continue any normal fitness routine

Phases 2&3 - While we very much encourage movement, we do encourage more low-impact movement when doing Phases 2 & 3. This is a time when you eat modest portions and strip back your diet. This powerful detox period helps reduce the body inflammation that causes weight gain and ill health. Many people need that extra rest, and high-impact exercise can be too strenuous whilst going through this phase.

We do recommend things like walking, swimming, yoga, Tai Chi. Remember, this is only for a very short period of time but is well worth it. We do encourage people through this time and let their body guide them between a good balance of exercise and rest.

I am pregnant, can I do the Protocol?

No, we do not recommend doing the Protocol whilst you are pregnant due to the elimination of food and the lower intake in Phase 2 & 3.

I am breast feeding, can I do this Protocol?

No, it is best to wait until you are finished breastfeeding. However, we recommend  our Introduction to Real Food Program if you are quite new to Changing Habits.

I am currently trying to conceive, can I do this Protocol?

No, we do not recommend the Protocol whilst trying to conceive. We recommend to consult your preferred healthcare professional before conceiving and considering any program or change in diet before conception.

Is this suitable for any age?

We do not recommend the Fat Loss Protocol for people under the age of 18. This age bracket is generally a lot more active, and therefore the reduction in food in Phase 2&3 is often not enough fuel for everyday activities of a child or teenager. Since this program also has a large focus on weight loss, it is not always good for children or teenager to focus too much on weight loss. Our recommended program, would be the Healthy Keto Way - focusing on eating healthy whole foods. Weight loss will occur, if there is weight to lose.

All other age groups the Fat Loss Protocol is suitable.

I have health issues, is this right for me?

This isn’t always suitable for everyone, whilst we have seen improvements in health conditions, nothing is a one size fits all. If you have health issues, we do advise to seek advice from your health professional.

I am on various medications, can I do the Protocol?

The drops are homeopathic and they are not known to interfere with any medications. The foods are REAL foods and thus there is nothing within this Protocol to cause any concerns.

I am diabetic, can I do the Protocol?

Yes, however if you are a diabetic, we suggest you monitor your blood glucose very carefully. You will probably need to reduce your insulin, but be vigilant with blood glucose levels and alter as needed. We also suggest that you eat a protein in the morning, such as an egg and three egg whites cooked in an omelette or a piece of meat, chicken or fish. We also strongly advise that you purchase the Complete Pack with the Protocol Health Essentials and  Nature's Mineral Boost as this will give you extra energy.

We also advise to seek advice from your health care provider.

I am vegetarian, can I do the Protocol?

Yes, you can and we do have vegetarian options, but please be aware that your choices of foods will be limited.

I am on Hormone Replacement Therapy, can I do the Protocol?

Yes, it is perfectly safe to do whilst on HRT.

Is FLP gluten & dairy free? What are the main foods on the protocol?

This is all about whole foods and clean eating.

You have a selection of lean meats or vegetarian protein options, a selection of fruits, some of which are readily available in more regions, as well as an array of vegetables to choose from.

The protocol has been designed, and each Phase has its own Allowed Foods List & quantities to each to provide the best outcome. This is available on purchase.

I have 5kgs or less to lose, is this Protocol suitable?

The Fat Loss Protocol is all about losing fat from fat cells in order to create health and wellbeing and harmony within the body with regards to hormones and all connected with it. The fat cells collectively act as an endocrine organ disrupting other processes in the body. A master hormone called Leptin controls the fine line that should be maintained between food in and food used and food stored.

If you have no weight to lose or less than 5kgs, we do not recommend to do the Protocol. Most people have too much fat surrounding their body in stored areas – this releases copious amounts of Leptin which in turn causes Leptin resistance and then everything goes hay wire. The more fat you have, the more leptin in your blood and the more resistance. Instead, if you have 5kgs or less to lose, then we recommend our Healthy Keto Way Program

My work has a zero tolerance level of alcohol. Can I take the Fat Loss Support drops?

These homoeopathic drops contain alcohol as a preservative and do not enter the bloodstream. However, they will register a positive reading (possibly even over the legal limit) if taken within 5 minutes of a breathalyser test. This is due to the alcohol residue in the mouth. A negative alcohol reading will be reached within 15 minutes of taking the drops.

This goes for all homoeopathic formulas with alcohol preservatives as well as alcohol-based mouthwashes. Therefore, it is recommended not to take drops 15 minutes prior to driving. If you do find yourself having an alcohol breath test, explain you have taken homoeopathic drops that are alcohol based and they will re-test you within 20 mins of the first test, and you will test negative, providing of course no other alcohol has been consumed.
