A slice that is so quick, so easy and involves no baking. Do you ever feel like a chocolate fix, and reach for plastic chocolates like Cadbury, Lindt or Snickers? You've got no excuse when this slice takes you max 10 minutes to whip up, leaving a little time to freeze.
In a food processor or thermomix blend the dried figs, Changing Habits Cacao Melts, cashews, sunflower seeds, cashews and banana until smooth.
Add liquid stevia, Changing Habits vanilla pod seeds and tapioca and blend even further.
Take the mix out of the blender and into a bowl.
Place hazelnuts in blender and chop, still leaving them chunky.
Add the hazelnuts into the bowl with the mix and combine with your hands.
This is when the tapioca comes ‘in hand’! Coat the tapioca over your hands to minimize the mix sticking to your hands.
Place mix onto baking paper (just like the photo!). Fold the edges of the baking paper down onto mix, so there is no mix to be seen.
Use a rolling pin to flatten out the mix like a slice. Keep it covered with the baking paper then place in freezer.
Freeze for approximately 10 minutes to enjoy as soon as you can and then place in fridge or freezer for storage.
Notes: If the mixture is too wet, add a little more tapioca until it is the right consistency to flatten out to a slice.
