Cooking the rice in turmeric, salt and dehydrated broth allows the aromas and flavours to infuse into the rice and transform it into 'golden rice' which boosts the overall nutrition and health benefits of it.
Soak the rice in water with the salt and ACV overnight.
Rinse the rice in filtered water and add to a saucepan with 1-½ cups of water and all the other ingredients.
Place on the stove and bring to the boil.
Follow the instructions on your rice packet for the absorption method (ie; once boiling, turn down to a simmer with the lid on until cooked to your liking).
When ready remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly with the lid still on.
Mix the rice with a spoon, taste and adjust if needed and add more salt, or pepper, stir through butter, ghee or coconut oil or lemon juice to taste.
Serve the rice with curry, a stew, slow cooked meat, turn it into a fried rice or simply enjoy as is.
