Did you know that you can make your own coconut yoghurt using the Changing Habits Probiotic Powder? You can change up the flavours by adding in some of your favourite seasonal fruits.

Add all the ingredients into a clean 1L glass jar and stir through to combine. If you're using the dates you will need to blend all the ingredients together before popping it into a clean glass jar.
Close the lid and place the jar onto a shelf in your pantry. Allow it to ferment for 2-4 days (the time will depend on the weather, if it's cold, try wrapping the jar up in a jumper or a few tea towels to keep it warm and allow it to ferment away nicely).
After a few days taste the yoghurt, if it is slightly tangy, it's ready. If it's not, keep fermenting it for another day or two.
Once it's ready, place it in the fridge.
Serve with homemade Muesli or Changing Habits Muesli, add it to smoothies, chia puddings and more.

Can you tell me if your probiotic powder has saccharomyces cerevisiae in it? I was using kultured wellness kefir starter until I found out it had saccharomyces cerevisiae in It. I’ve just discovered I have an allergy to it.?

Isnt the probiotic powder green? So does it make yoghurt go like that?
Hi Bronwyn,
Changing Habits Probiotics is brown…you might be thinking of our Supreme Green Blend (https://changinghabits.com.au/product/supreme-green-blend-200g/) 🙂
Organic Coconut Cream has no additives so surely is preferable? The brands available in Australia are ALL alot thicker than Ayam also. 🙂
Hi Grace, we prefer to use the AYAM coconut cream as it’s 100% pure and has absolutely no added ingredients. However, you can choose to use whatever brand you personally prefer for this recipe 🙂
Any suggestions to disguise the texture and taste of the probiotics? My toddler spits it out of everything I put it in at the moment 🙁
Hi Naomi. Thanks for getting in touch. You could try the Probiotic Chocolate Yoghurt: https://changinghabits.com.au/recipes/probiotic-chocolate-yoghurt/ or the Strawberry Probiotic Smoothie: https://changinghabits.com.au/recipes/strawberry-probiotic-smoothy/ Hope this helps 🙂
