Our healthy take on the choc chip cookie!

Yields20 ServingsPrep Time15 minsCook Time17 minsTotal Time32 minsDifficultyBeginner
 1/2 tsp. baking soda
 2 large organic eggs
 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
 1 tsp Changing Habits Cinnamon(optional)
1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

2

Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt into a large bowl.

3

Add all other ingredients and mix together. If the mixture is too wet to be formed into balls, add a touch more flour until you reach the correct consistency. (Note: it’s easier to roll into balls with slightly clean, yet damp hands so the mixture doesn’t stick to your hands).

4

Roll the mixture into balls and press into cookie shapes onto the tray.

5

Place in the oven and bake for 12-17 minutes (will depend on your oven) or until golden brown.

6

Remove from the oven.

7

Enjoy with a hot cup of herbal tea!

Hi Gail. Thanks for getting in touch. You could try swapping the coconut oil with butter. Hope this helps 🙂
