These are great small portable bites of energy and nourishment! The gelatin contains two amino acids called glycine and lysine which help support the liver to efficiently remove toxins from the body and helps to absorb calcium and build muscle. These little bites also contains quality fats which help you to feel fuller for longer and keep you feeling satisfied. And the coffee also provides you with a pick me up.
Add the gelatin and water to a small bowl and stir well. Set aside to "bloom" and thicken.
Once the gelatin has bloomed add to a small saucepan and heat on low, stirring until the gelatin has dissolved.
Transfer the mixture into a blender with the rest of the ingredients and blitz well.
Taste the mixture and adjust if needed.
Pour the mixture into small moulds or a container lined with baking paper.
Place in the fridge to set for 2 hours.
Store in the refrigerator.

HI,
Can you tell me if you use an Australian 20ml tablespoon.
Thanks Carol.
Hi Carol, all of our cooking is done in Australia so yes we do. Happy cooking!
Mine turned to absolute rubber. Can it be saved? ie, reheated and more liquid added or something?
Thank you.
Hello Yvonne, we have never melted them down before, but worth a try if they aren’t tasty. Remember to do this slowly on a low heat.
