Cultured Golden Beetroots

*Did You Know* Golden beets are heart healthy, excellent kidney and body cleansers, right in antioxidants, helps to lower blood pressure, helps with anaemia and fatigue, great for eye and skin health and also packed with potassium, lycopene, fibre, flavonoids and much more.

 6-8 golden organic beetroots
 2 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
 Filtered water
 1 carrot, sliced into long strips
 1 cup Kultured Wellness coconut water kefir or a veggie culture starter of your choice

Grate the beetroots and add all the ingredients together in a bowl and combine.

Add 1 cup of water and combine.

Add the mixture to a clean, glass jar and pack it down under the liquid, add a touch more liquid if needed.

Press the carrot stick into the jar to keep the mixture under the liquid.

Close and clean the jar and allow to ferment out of the sunlight for 1-3 weeks.
