Deceivingly Delicious Kale

This makes a perfect side to any source of protein; turmeric eggs, paprika chicken, plain smoked or fresh salmon and so on. It would also be beautiful served with sautéed mushrooms or roast vegetables.

 A few bunches of kale, depending on how many people your feeding (1-2 stalks per person)
 2 tbsp coconut oil
 A sprinkle of pepitas

Remove the leaves from the kale stems, with a knife or rip with your hands.

On a medium-high heated pan add 1-2 tbsp of coconut oil and allow to become liquid if it isn’t already. Add the kale leaves and cover the leaves in the oil. Sprinkle seaweed salt, dulse, turmeric and papitas over the kale and sauté until the kale becomes soft and the edges of the leaves are even slightly crispy.

Serve straight away and enjoy the beautiful properties of this side dish.
