Pepita Mocha

This delicous mocha can be served either hot or cold! Pepita seeds are rich in calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, B Vitamins, phosphorous, potassium, omega-3 essential fatty acids and help to eliminate parasites from the body. They are also excellent for prostate health.

 1/2 cup Homemade Pepita Milk (per person)
 Hot filtered water if you're making a hot version or filtered water + ice if you're making the cold version
Optional Add Ins
 A combination of ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla or peppermint oil, Changing Habits Rapadura Sugar, stevia or honey, 1/2 Tbsp butter, 1/2 Tbsp coconut oil
 1 tbsp nut butter.

Add the pepita milk, coffee and cacao melts to the thermomix bowl and heat at 50C on Speed 1for 2-3 minutes (until completely melted).

Add any additional add ins and combine on Speed 10 for 1 minute heating to 60C. Check after 1 minute, if the mix is thicker than you like add a touch of water and re-blend for 30 seconds to 1 minutes until you reach your desired consistency.

If making the cold version heat on 50C just until the cacao melts have melted, then add in the filtered water and ice and blitz until smooth, creamy and combined.

Taste the mixture and add any additional ingredients if needed and blitz again.

Serve in mug immediately for the hot version or pour into a glass with some extra ice for the cold version!
