Add all ingredients to a thermomix and heat to 70C or 80C on speed 2.
When heated, blitz on Speed 10 for 1 minute.

Just made this without the gelatin. It was delish ?
Just made the recipe with Gelatin. Thought it sounded a little odd but this is delicious. Tastes like a luscious & indulgent morning coffee. Health benefits too. Well worth a try.
Just made this coffee using my coffee machine, frothed the mixture like it was milk yummy ? with bloomed gelatine
Would this work with Almond milk and chocolate or cacoa?
Hi Jo, yes you could add almond milk in as well as some cacao powder to taste if you wanted to create a ‘mocha’ flavour 🙂
Something I learned is that the blender has to be glass. Hot liquid makes cracks in the plastic and will leak after that
Too weird! Why would I want to have gelatin, made from pork bones, in my coffee?? YUK.
Hi Vikki,
I completely understand your thoughts, however, we have just tried to create a spin on the original Bulletproof coffee by Dave Asprey and add gelatin for gut health healing/ soothing purposes + it makes it super creamy when blended.
I don’t drink coffee but I made this for my husband to try. He loves his coffees. He was very reluctant but actually really liked the coconut flavour it added to the coffee.
What is the ideal temp for the water to be when you bloom gelatin?. How long does it take and how do you know when the bloom process is finished?
Hi Mark, just normal filtered water straight from the tap works best. And you’ll see it will only take 30seconds – 1 min for the gelatin to absorb the water (this is why its called ‘blooming’).
Hi Jordan, when is the bullet proof coffee allowed on the 4 phase protocol
Hi Elizabeth, you can try it once you have introduced butter/ ghee and coconut oil successfully 🙂
I ended up here after looking to see if Cyndi has any thoughts on how MCT oil is made, because I am considering adding it to my coffee. I’m finding it difficult to find out how it’s processed. Has she written or spoken about it? Would love to know her thoughts. Hadn’t thought to try gelatine! Will give it a go. Thanks
Hi Tricia! Thanks for getting in touch. You might find this blog useful: https://draxe.com/nutrition/mct-oil/ Yes, gelatin in a Bulletproof Coffee is wonderful! Enjoy 🙂
