Grilled Pear and Haloumi Salad with Chicken Wings

Ingredients
Chicken wings
 1 kg chicken wings
 1/4 cup tamari
 4 tbsp maple syrup
 1 tbsp coconut oil
Salad
 1 tsp olive oil
 180 g Haloumi Cheese sliced
 4 pears cut into slices
 1/8 spanish onion thinly sliced
 1/4 cup pistachios
 1/2 cup red cabbage thinly sliced
 large handful rocket

Preheat oven to 200 degrees celsius.

Place the chicken wings in a shallow dish and add the tamari, maple syrup, cinnamon, coconut oil and salt and mix well.

Heat a frypan over a medium-high heat and cook the wings until they begin to brown on each side.

Transfer the chicken wings into a lined baking dish and place in the oven for a further 15 minutes or until cooked through. Set aside.

Salad

Heat a pan over a medium-high heat. Cook the haloumi until it begins to brown on each side. Set aside.

Grill the pear slices until brown on each side. set aside.

Place all salad ingredients in a bowl and combine.

Serve the wings and salad on a serving platter or individual plates. Enjoy!
