Garlic Chilli Beans

A great flavorsome accompaniment. Mix through salads, serve with roasted veg and meat or with fried or baked fish. Serve as a side with pork or lamb chops and sweet potato or potato mash.

 250-300g organic green beans, topped and tailed, cut in half
 4-8 cloves of garlic, chopped
 1-2 fresh red chilli’s, chopped
 1 tbsp Tamari or Coconut Aminos
 2 Tbsp ghee or coconut oil

Heat a medium sized frying pan on medium heat.

Add the oil or fat and allow to melt all over the pan.

Add the beans and allow to turn slightly golden and soften.

Add all other ingredients to the pan and allow to caramelise and coat the beans in the sauce.

Once ready, remove from the heat and spoon into a bowl.

Optional - drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
