Homemade BBQ Sauce

Spice up your next BBQ with this yummy homemade BBQ sauce!

Yields1 ServingDifficultyBeginner
 2 cups of very ripe, cooked tomatoes, pureed
 1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
 1/2 cup organic molasses
 1/2 tsp all spice
 1 tsp paprika
 1/2 tsp tabasco
 1/2 tsp mace or Changing Habits Nutmeg
 1/4 tsp freshly ground Changing Habits Pepper

Place all ingredients in a stainless steel or glass pot and blend together.

Place over low- medium heat to dissolve the sugars.

Bring to a slight boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for around 30 Minutes or until sauce is at the right consistency.

Once ready, allow to cool then pour into glass jar/s and store in fridge.

      Hi Fran, you could cook these yourself in a sauce pan or simply purchase canned ones if that’s easier. 🙂

      I would give it perhaps 2 weeks, so sorry we can’t really guarantee this though as it didn’t last nearly that long in the Changing Habits fridge.
