Chocolate Tart

A beautiful chocolate tart, that is so silky smooth in texture. Perfect for chocolate lovers out there!

Crust
 1/2 cup cashews
 1 tbsp coconut oil
Filling
 1/3 cup cashews (pre-soaked for 2+ hours and drained)
 1 cup coconut cream
 1/4 cup coconut oil
 1 tsp vanilla essence
 2 tbsp maple syrup
Garnish
 Mixed berries (optional)
 Crushed hazelnuts (optional)

Place all crust ingredients into a food processor or Thermomix and blitz well.

Spoon the mixture into a lined dish and press down with the back of a spoon or fingers, making sure that the mixture is also spread up the side of the dish about 2.5cm to hold the filling mixture. Place in the freezer to set for 30 minutes.

Place all of the filling ingredients into a food processor or Thermomix and blitz well until completely smooth. Pour into the hardened crust and place in the refrigerator to set (this should take approximately 60 minutes, or 30 minutes in the freezer).

Remove from the refrigerator and garnish with your choice of berries or nuts.

Store in the refrigerator.
